Winders Are radiating steps, narrower at one end, that are used to change the direction of a stair through a 90°, 180°, 270° or 360° turn. A stair can have a minimum of 2 winders and a maximum of 12, dependant upon the number of rooms the stair is serving diagram showing winder treads
