Pitch The pitch of a stair is the angle between the pitch line and the horizontal, i.e. the main upward angle of the stair diagram showing the pitch of a stair
Pitch Line The pitch line is the notional line connecting the nosings of all the treads in a flight of stairs diagram showing the pitch of a stair
Private Stair A private stair is a stair within a single dwelling, which is not accessible to the public
