FFL- Ceiling The vertical distance from the lowest point of the ceiling directly above the stair to the finished floor level diagram describing 'finished floor to ceiling' measurement
FFL- FFL Also, finished floor to finished floor. This is a vertical measurement which is taken from -for example- ground floor level to first floor level, and is inclusive of floor boarding and any build-up, chipboard etc measurement B shows the finished floor to finished floor height
Fillets These are the sections of timber that are used to fill in the spaces in the handrail & baserail either side of each spindle (also called Spacers) examples of fillets (also called spacers)
