Company History

Established in 1998 by father and son Peter and Chris Stockwell, CV Stairs are now one of Scotland's leading specialist bespoke timber staircase manufacturers.

In July 2006 we moved premises to a new, custom built factory which spans 20,000 sq. ft. We have invested heavily in precision machinery including, amongst others; a new SCM CNC machine; a new Stromab cross cutter and most recently; a Talbots wood-burning heating system. This addition not only reduces our heating costs, but also reduces our overall wastage as a company, ensuring we have less of an impact on the environment.

The investment in these new machines, combined with additional personnel and the continued development of existing personnel means we now have a production capacity in excess of 75 flights per week.

Our dedicated team of professionals has collected a wealth of knowledge and experience in staircase design and manufacture and are always available for any help or advice you may require.
